ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service management is the entry level qualification within the ITIL Qualification scheme.
It is intended for individuals who require basic understanding of the ITIL concepts, terminology, lifecycle stages and the linkage between those stages.
There are no prerequisites for this exam.
ITIL Foundation exam contains 40 multiple choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. Only one option can be correct. The correct answer is awarded one point and there are no negative points for wrong answers. The pass score is 65%, which is 26 out of the 40 questions should be correct. Exam can be online or paper based from an ITIL Accredited Training Organisation (ATO).
